Strategic Planning Committee: The strategic planning committee meets on an as needed basis to engage in annual strategic planning, ensure accountability in plan implementation and respond to professional needs as they arise.
Advisory Committees: Advisory committees are composed of at least one board representative and an agreed upon number of community representatives (usually between 5-10 certified individuals- but at the discretion of the committee). Advisory committees play a significant role in reviewing certification requirements, making decisions on allowable education and continuing education, and discussing responsive approaches to professionals attempting to attain or renew certification through the certification board.
